Edmund Waddill

Edmund Waddill is responsible for the overall asset management of investments within the funds, as well as deal and capital partner management.

Prior to joining Cherokee in 2011, Mr. Waddill worked at Kane Realty Corporation in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, he was responsible for the planning and development efforts within the North Hills mixed-use project, a former Cherokee investment. Mr. Waddill has previously worked as the Land Development Manager for a Southeastern based development company where he was responsible for land assemblage, entitlement and site development.

He received a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and attended the Kenan-Flagler Business School Institute Program. Mr. Waddill also holds a North Carolina Broker’s license, is an active member of ULI and other service/non-profit groups in the Triangle. He and his wife have three children and reside in Raleigh.
